the merch table is open
as i am now in the process of the move back to sydney, i was thinking about some good times i have had in sydney...
i remember back in the day when koorong opened up its big MEGA store, in what used to be the old west ryde pub, me and a few friends would go and look at all the tacky christian merch that was on offer... from WWJD bands and dogtags to a perfume called "Essence of Jeruselm" (seriously i am NOT kidding)
now that we are well and truly in the digital age its good to see the marketers of tacky christian merch have met my fav consumer goods item the iPod...
now i dont know but... you think we might be missing the point?
oh and by the way Young Life t-shirts are NOT tacky merch.... they are cool ok...

Missing the point or right on the point. It use to be amyway and tupperware in churches now its larger groups and more money just look at the usa preachers and the amount of money they have compare that to that old cathloic Chic Mother T and see who really changes the world and lives of people for good.
What ever happaned to the camal and the needle preaching if there ever was such a thing!
A point often overlooked is that the first Christians where socilists and to quote noble peace prize winner and world leader Mikel Gorbachevf "Jesus Christ was the first socialist"
Anyway i never did buy anything christian in my life but now you got me intrested in that sent of jersulam stuff ... anyone who has ever been there will know that jersulam dose have a sent but then so dose my dogs arse and they both smell kinda the same ( not that i sniff my dogs arse lattly) giggles
So you going to buy one of them cross ipods ... what a xmas prizzie
